Transportation

The district stretches over three counties: Cameron, Hidalgo & Willacy, and overlaps 28 other school districts, an area of 3,643 miles. Inside STISD, we provide free transportation to all students enrolled at one of our six campuses. 

 

Parent Notice: Replacement bus pick-up/drop-off location for Economedes High School in Edinburg

Effective Tuesday, Feb. 10, STISD will no longer use Economedes High School as a bus pick-up/drop-off location. This stop will relocate to the Hidalgo County Health/WIC Department building located at 3105 E. Richardson Rd., Edinburg. See below for a map showing the process to be followed at this location.

Please note that the bus schedules are subject to change. Students must wear their student ID's to board the bus. This is mandatory.

Please arrive at the bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time. For the safety of the students, bus drivers are instructed not to open the doors at traffic lights or other undesignated stops to pick up students who missed the bus.
