South Texas ISD will host Back-2-School Kick-Off Makeup Events at all STISD schools on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon for families who were unable to attend their campus event held Aug. 4-6.
During the makeup events, families can visit their student’s campus to pick up class schedules and free school supplies provided by STISD.
Please note: Students must have their Skyward registration packet completed before their class schedule can be released. Families who have questions about the registration process or their student’s registration status should contact their campus directly for assistance.
The makeup events will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the following locations:
- Health Professions – 700 Med High Drive, Mercedes
- Medical Professions – 10650 N. Expressway 77/83, Olmito
- Preparatory Academy – 724 S. Sugar Road, Edinburg
- Rising Scholars Academy – 151 S. Helen Moore Road, San Benito
- Science Academy – 900 Med High Drive, Mercedes
- Virtual Academy – 300 Med High Dr., Mercedes (inside the Biblioteca Las Americas)
- World Scholars – 510 S. Sugar Road, Edinburg
This makeup event is designed especially for families of enrolled students who were unable to attend last week, providing another opportunity to take care of these back-to-school essentials before the first day of school.
