Preparatory Academy is consistently ranked among the best in the state and nation.

STISD is the only all-magnet school district in the state, and offers Valley students an educational alternative. The district provides a personal environment, a strong scholastic program and hands-on training in vocational career fields.

Because STISD is a public school district, there is no cost for students to attend one of its six campuses, and bus transportation is also free of charge.

STISD schools maintain an open enrollment policy, meaning any student that wants to attend one of our six campuses can as long as he or she resides within the tri-county area we serve.

Preparatory Academy

Summer Camps

When you enroll your child to Preparatory Academy, students have the opportunity to experience the district, campus and the culture before starting classes in the fall by attending one of three summer camps hosted by the campus. This allows students to prepare for their journey with us, explore programs, meet new people and experience the STISD community first-hand.

New-to-Campus Summer Camp Dates:

Camp 1: June 14 -15, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Camp 2: June 21- 22, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Camp 3: July 19 - 20, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

All camps will include the same activities and will be held in-person on campus.
