Special Education

The Special Services Arrangement (SSA) is committed to providing quality services and supports for students with disabilities across all participating districts. This commitment is grounded in the belief that special education is a service designed to meet the unique needs of each student and not a place.

“All students are successful when appropriate services and supports are provided.”

The SSA works collaboratively with member districts to ensure students receive individualized supports that promote academic achievement, functional growth, and successful transitions to post-secondary education, employment, and independent living opportunities.

Participating Districts Include:

Students referred for a special education evaluation may continue to receive interventions and supports through the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process while evaluations are being considered or completed.
