Libraries

South Texas ISD Libraries are hubs of active learning that enhance student achievement through collaboration, innovation and diverse resources.

STISD has four libraries that support our district community: Biblioteca Las Americas (Mercedes), Eliseo B. Vega Library (Olmito), Gateway to the World Library (Edinburg) and the Rising Scholars Academy Library (San Benito).

“Because that’s what Hermione does,’ said Ron, shrugging. ‘When in doubt, go to the library.” JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

This is a great quote and serves as a reminder that your campus libraries are open daily to assist you.You can also submit your questions through Ask A Librarian on your library website or by clicking here!
