Dr. Reynaldo Rodriguez

As a graduate of South Texas ISD, Dr. Reynaldo D. Rodriguez is proud to return to the district to serve as principal of South Texas ISD Rising Scholars Academy. Dr. Rodriguez graduated from South Texas High School for Health Professions in 2003 and continued on his journey of higher education. He earned his bachelors degree from the University of Houston (2008), master degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University (2010) and The University of the Permian Basin (2015), and his doctoral degree from Texas A&M University Kingsville (2021).

Dr. Rodriguez has worked in all grade levels K-12 in different capacities. He has been in the educational field since 2012 serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal.

He looks forward to serving the Rising Scholars Academy community and working together with all stakeholders to ensure the success of all students.
