Special Education
South Texas Independent School District is committed to quality services for students with disabilities in grade levels 6th-12th. This commitment is based on the belief that special education is a service and not a place.
“All students are successful when appropriate services are provided.”
South Texas Independent School District’s Special Education Program is designed to individually challenge students with disabilities to acquire the necessary skills to successfully transition to a post-secondary education of their choice.
Students referred for a Special Education evaluation may continue to receive supports through the MTSS process.
