School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)
The South Texas Independent School District (STISD) School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) exists to assist the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the district’s health education instruction. The council will promote the health and wellness of the STISD community by providing guidance to the school board through its recommendations.
Meetings will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Central Office Teaching and Learning Center in Mercedes.
