This process should only take a few minutes to complete, and it will make a big impact on your Schedule Pick-Up experience. If you have not already done so, please log into your Parent/Guardian Skyward Family Access to complete your child’s electronic registration packet.

World Scholars graduates celebrate as streamers fly through the air at end of graduation ceremony

Educational Results Partnership (ERP) recently released its ninth annual “Honor Roll” list, which recognizes top public schools, school districts and charter schools that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

STISD earned a spot on this year’s Texas Honor Roll Districts list, while four STISD campuses earned spots on the Honor Roll Schools list, including Health Professions, Preparatory Academy, Rising Scholars, and World Scholars.

Three students from STISD Science Academy were selected to participate in this year's STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) Summer High School Intern Program in collaboration with The University of Texas Center for Space Research (UT/CSR) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

STISD will serve free breakfast and lunch meals to children 18 years old and younger from our local communities and enrolled students up to 21 years old with disabilities this summer from May 27 through June 27.

The meals will be served via dine-in only at the cafeterias of four different STISD campuses. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Science Academy has been recognized as a 2023-24 Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School, marking the sixth consecutive year the campus has earned this distinction. The campus is one of just a few hundred high schools across the U.S. to receive this honor for providing broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW Computer Science and Engineering.

STISD Senior Summit for members of the Class of 2025 will be held in June. Scan QR code to register.

This summer, STISD will hold a Senior Summit for rising seniors in the Class of 2025. Rising seniors are encouraged to join us to get a head start on senior year. Topics to be covered include:

- Testing Information/Dates
- FAFSA Information
- College Applications
- Scholarships
- Resume Building/Volunteering
- Social-Emotional Transitional Skills

STISD Coding Camp for current STISD 6th and 7th graders. Registration opens May 5.

Update: Registration now closed.

We are currently registering for our Summer Coding Camp for current STISD 6th and 7th graders.

The Coding Camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the STISD Teaching and Learning Center located at 7001 E. Expressway 83 in Mercedes.

Seats for the camp will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
