STISD Golf Teams and Individuals win gold at State Meet

STISD middle school and high school teams and individuals competed at the Texas Charter School Academic & Athletic League State Golf Tournament on Monday, March 27, and brought home the gold!

At the high school level, and for the first-time ever, we had the girls team from Health Professions place 1st. Team members are: Paola Aleman, Nicole Sevilla, Ayesha Mumtaz, Mahaa Gandi, and JinJoo Jungfrom.

At the middle school level, we had the boys and girls teams from Preparatory Academy win it all!
Girls team members are: Scarlette Hanson, Amalie Uribe, Hadassah Trehou, Liz Samuel and Ana Camila Soberon
Boys team members are: Jesse Guthrie, Eric Aleman, Alessandro Ruiz, Jorge Flores and James Guthrie.

At the middle school level we also had an individual, Dulcinea Patel, from Rising Scholars Academy win 1st.

• 7th Place - Rene Garcia (Boys Individual) 
• 10th Place - Dongjum Kim and Saul Jarez (Tied)
