Priscilla Calderon, STISD athletic coordinator, accepted the trophy on behalf of the school while attending the TCSAAL coaches conference last month. She shared what this achievement means to the STISD community, saying, “Congratulations, Preparatory Academy athletics, for this tremendous achievement! Although our athletic programs are still relatively new, we have already accomplished so much because of the hard work, talent, and dedication of our student athletes and coaches. Our programs continue to grow, develop, and make history every year, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for STISD athletics.”
To celebrate as a school community, Preparatory Academy hosted a trophy presentation ceremony after school on Thursday, Sept. 14. The campus invited its athletes, coaches and families to attend to celebrate this award.
STISD’s second middle school, STISD Rising Scholars Academy in San Benito, came in second in the running for the 2022-2023 Texas Cup.
