Because STISD is a public school district, there is no cost for students to attend one of its seven campuses, and bus transportation is also free of charge.

STISD schools maintain an open enrollment policy, meaning any student that wants to attend one of our seven campuses can as long as he or she resides within the tri-county area we serve.

Join us on the following Saturdays in April for the Tour STISD Spring Campus Showcases:

Saturday, April 5: Tour STISD Spring Campus Showcases at Health Professions (Mercedes), Science Academy (Mercedes), Rising Scholars Academy (San Benito), Medical Professions (Olmito), and Virtual Academy (virtual via Zoom and in-person in Mercedes)
Saturday, April 12: Tour STISD Spring Campus Showcases at Preparatory Academy (Edinburg) and World Scholars (Edinburg)

Each of our schools will host a campus showcase event, which will include tours, family-friendly activities and more.
