Early closure of summer camps today and cancelation for remainder of the week

All camps and on-campus activities are canceled for this week due to severe weather.

Dear STISD Families,

Due to the current weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing today's summer camps effective immediately.

Students who are currently on campus may be picked up by their parents/guardians and will be transported home via their bus transportation. Staff will continue to monitor weather conditions closely to ensure students arrive home safely.

All camps and on-campus activities for this week are canceled. If your child was scheduled to take a state assessment this week, that has been canceled and will be rescheduled. All STC and UTRGV courses for this week are canceled as well.

We appreciate your understanding as the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority.

If you have any questions, please contact your child's camp coordinator.
