Because STISD is a public school district, there is no cost for students to attend one of its six campuses, and bus transportation is also free of charge.
STISD schools maintain an open enrollment policy, meaning any student that wants to attend one of our six campuses can as long as he or she resides within the tri-county area we serve.

Superintendent's Message: Plans for 2020-2021 School Year
STISD will offer three different options for the 2020-2021 school year to accommodate student and family needs. You will be able to choose between traditional (in-person), blended (in-person/at home), and virtual (completely at home). Additional information will be sent out soon.
Curbside Meal Updates: STISD's distribution of curbside meals to the community has ended. STISD will begin distributing meals curbside again on Monday, Aug. 17; however, these meals will only be available to current STISD students through the National School Lunch Program and will be available for purchase at the regular meal prices (taking into account free- and reduced-price meal status). Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is a one-time food benefit for families who lost access to free or reduced-price meals due to school closures.The online application is now open for eligible families.
